Ingredients

  • 5 cups flour

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cube of butter

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 cakes/packs yeast

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 1/2 cup milk

Process

Scald the milk. Add the butter, sugar, salt. Cool. Add beaten eggs and yeast. Add the flour. Make dough spongy. Use flour on board. Let rise in a bowl for 1 hour. Cover the bowl with a dish cloth. Flour your board. Roll out as thin as you can with a rolling pin. Use "mucho" flour during this process so it won't stick. Cut into strips. Dip into more melted butter. Put strips in a funnel pan crisscrossing back and forth until all strips are gone. Let rise again for 1 hr. Cover with dish cloth. Bake 35 min at 350 degrees.
