People's Kitchen Collective is collaborating with award winning chef Marcus Samuelsson to host an intimate pop-up dinner at Alena studios in West Oakland for our community. Marcus will be in the kitchen and at the table with us sharing stories from his culinary career and newest cookbook, The Red Rooster.

In true PKC form, diners will be seated at long family style tables and the menu will be served and shared family style. The multi-course menu will be a collaboration between the chefs of the People's Kitchen Collective with direct inspiration from Marcus Samuelsson's recipes collected in The Red Rooster Cookbook: The Story of Food and Hustle in Harlem. Expect a meal that fills your stomach, feeds your mind and nourishes your soul. The night is going to be filled with music and celebration and a whole lot of creativity coming out of our kitchen collaboration! 

Reservations are set at $50 and are very limited.
