Earth Seed School: RITUALS

Using cyanotype (method of “photographing” with sun and water) paper, we have the opportunity to create an image in honor and relationship with this blessed water.

1. While sitting in the shade, gather objects you want to put in your “image” - e.g. leaves, twigs, any trip ephemera (ideally with defined edges)

2. Play around with different arrangements until you arrive at the image you want, reflecting on what the water taught you, what you offer back.

3. Put your cyanotype paper in the sun, quickly arrange your objects on top and let sit 3-5min. Pull paper out of sun and rinse with SJV water.
