EARTH SEED Film Tour Kicks Off in Berkeley

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our national tour for EARTH SEED: A People’s Journey of Radical Hospitality, beginning with a public screening at BAMPFA (Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive) on Sunday, July 27th, from 3–6 PM.

Rooted in Octavia Butler’s Parable series and the radical legacy of the Black Panther Party, the film follows People’s Kitchen Collective on a pilgrimage through California to explore what collective survival and care can look like. Directed by Fox Nakai and guided by PKC co-founder Jocelyn Jackson, the journey centers activists, farmers, artists, and elders offering real-world models of resilience.

This free screening includes a post-film panel with Jocelyn Jackson and Isis Asare of Sistah Sci-fi, and all guests will receive a complimentary sachet of PKC Flavor Crystals.

🎟 Admission is free and first-come, first-served.
