EARTH SEED: A People’s Journey of Radical Hospitality

  • BAMPFA (Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive) 2155 Center St Berkley, CA 94720 US (map)

Join us at BAMPFA for a special free screening of EARTH SEED, a documentary by People’s Kitchen Collective that traces their cross‑California pilgrimage of care, storytelling, and community-building. Grounded in Octavia Butler's Parables, the film centers radical hospitality as one path toward collective survival in a world unraveling.

A post-film conversation will feature PKC co-founder Jocelyn Jackson alongside poet Sarai Bordeaux and Sistah Sci‑fi bookstore founder Isis Asare. This landmark screening launches PKC’s national tour and opens a space for nourishment—both culinary and communal.

Admission Info: Tickets are available first‑come, first‑served at the admissions desk beginning at 2 PM on the day of the event.
Presented in partnership with: Black Studies Collaboratory at UC Berkeley, Museum of the African Diaspora, and People’s Kitchen Collective.
